This one-of-one product is a collaboration between Rurban and NOAH. The overstock garment provided by NOAH has been backpacked all the way from New York to the village of Guizhou, Southwest China. Customized creatively by Indigenous artists of the Miao community, it features their unique Batik craft.
Spiral motifs signify flowing water in Miao culture, representing the journey of life; each life decision creates ripples into the future. These motifs are hand-drawn in beeswax, dyed in locally grown indigo, and washed in mountain water.
