This one-of-one product is a collaboration between Rurban and NOAH. The overstock garment provided by NOAH has been backpacked all the way from New York to the village of Guizhou, Southwest China. Customized creatively by Indigenous artists of the Miao community, it features their unique Batik craft.
In their paintings, Miao artists employ an exaggerated style to craft vivid and fantastical designs intertwining natural elements with mythology and folklore. These motifs are hand-drawn in beeswax, dyed in locally grown indigo, and washed in mountain water.
